Private cloud comes with the decision to invest significantly for corporations by its ability to be built around vast corporate infrastructures with the installation of own storage hardware and servers. But a corporation also has flexibility in terms of shifting their workload to private servers during peak usage time frames for their newly deployed applications.

Private cloud provides full freedom to make changes as the need arise, unlike public cloud in which the permission is required from provider to initiate any changes. Also, public cloud service contract does not guarantee workload flexibility or service standards that is demanded to cater business needs.
